What is Storage?

A computer storage system is defined as the hardware device where the data is stored. Nowadays, when the exponential growth of data and access to it is a worrying topic in organizations, storage systems have become a very important element.

In a small company with a single server, the storage system where the information is stored are the hard disks integrated in the server. In corporate environments, the storage system can be a dedicated computer, full of disks and providing a high performance and redundancy environment.

Storage technology has changed radically in recent years, SAN and NAS systems have been highlighted for their excellent performance, scalability, compatibility and fault tolerance.

Types

SAINT

The SAN units (Storage Area Network) can be large drawers in which you can have hundreds of discs. These large systems with more than 50 terabytes of capacity do more than just activate hundreds of hard drives. They are incredibly powerful data warehouses that employ very versatile software utilities to manage multiple arrays, support various storage architecture configurations and provide constant system monitoring.

NAS

NAS (Network Attached Storage) units are independent units that have their own operating and file systems and manage the hard drives they have connected. They are units of diverse capacity to fit different needs and function as file servers.

The Indicated System

Partnerships with the main manufacturers

To answer this question a detailed analysis is required, not only is choosing a team that promises not to have failures, since the reality indicates that despite the technology of the current storage systems, disasters continue to occur that cause the loss of data.
